About

I was born in 1991 and grew up in Midleton, Co.Cork, Ireland. After leaving school, I began studying for a BA in Journalism attending Griffith College.

After previously have submissions published in various news outlets, I found regular work with Irishcentral in November 2010. After two months of writing articles for Irishcentral’s sports pages, my blog, Sports-Central, was established in January 2011.

Since then, I have covered both Irish, English and American sports for Irishcentral. The Boston Celtics, most Irish sports teams and the New England Patriots have become mainstays of the Sports-Central blog.

At the same time, I began writing for Bleacherreport. After a few weeks, I became a NFL, New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers featured columnist. That led to multiple offers to write for other websites such as Charged.fm and ChicagoSportsAuthority’s Magazine edition.

Eventually, I accepted a fantasy football writer position with FFBLife. While I wasn’t able to contribute as much as I wanted to in the first year with FFBLife, it is a growing website with a bright future. A future which I plan to be more prominently a part of!

The Summer of 2010 brought my first full-time writing opportunity as I became a daily writer for Bleacherreport. Most Bleacherreport writers write for free, which I still do on a regular basis, but I was selected to write full time as part of their NFL coverage team.

I did this for a month but had to leave in September to return for my final year of college.

I became a contributor to the Guardian’s NFL coverage in January of 2012.

My work has given me the opportunity to travel for media launches, earned me interviews with professional coaches and players of various sports while also affording me the opportunity to work as a part of Matt Waldman’s RSP project which is the most exciting venture on the horizon.
